Chimeny Removal

Our client required additional space within both the ground floor kitchen and living area and the first-floor bedrooms. A full chimney breast removal was proposed at these levels while retaining the chimney stack within the loft space and above roof level.

A structural solution was developed involving a steel beam spanning the full width of the loft to support the remaining masonry stack within the loft and above the roof. The design ensured structural stability, Building Regulations compliance, and created the additional floor space required, significantly improving the usability of the property.
